Grandpa and Grandma Simmons took Johanna and her friend Felicity to the ocean a couple of weeks ago and by all accounts the girls had a great time. I am sure Grandparents may have needed a few Tylenol :). They rode horses on the beach and took goofy pictures, staples for any ocean road trip. I always miss Johanna when she is gone. Sure I miss all the help she gives me, but I also miss her smile and goofy wit.

I really miss being around Johanna... tell her I said hi! Sounds like the girls had fun on their get away!
On a side note, that's really cool you guys have been to petrified forest... did you hike the full 3 miles w/ your kids? I was just amazed we even made it through 2 miles with 3 young kids. Do you guys go over to eastern washington often?
On another side note... Ethan and Kohl are in the same 1st grade class, YAY!! We just got back from the open house and saw Kohl's name on the same class list as Ethan. Ethan is sooo thrilled that he'll know someone in his class!
